The Scole Experiment documentary screening and Q&A with Dan Drasin and Jamie Butler
May 11 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm$10
Join Jamie Butler and Documentary filmmaker Dan Drasin who will show a rarely seen 80-minute rough cut of a film on the Scole Experiment, which he co-produced with filmmaker Tim Coleman. The experiment, conducted in the English village of Scole in the late 1990s, was the most ambitious and successful experiment in physical mediumship ever attempted. It produced a stunning range of paranormal evidence in the form of direct voices, materialized objects, photographic images, audio recordings, and video tapes.
Following the screening there will be Q&A, then Dan will present some surprise video clips from an ongoing research project. He will also read a few chapters from his book in progress, What’s This About an Afterlife? Discussion will continue til the cows come home.
Daniel Drasin has been a media producer and documentary filmmaker since the early 1960s. As a child he had numerous precognitive dreams, which jumpstarted his curiosity about consciousness and paranormal phenomena. As an adult Dan experienced a number of UFO sightings and was one of the primary on-site researchers of the events surrounding the infamous West Virginia “Mothman” in the mid-1960s.
Since the early 1990s Dan has been investigating communication with the Other Side through traditional mental and physical mediumship and also modern electronic systems.
